  • As a psychotherapist and counselor deeply committed to facilitating the healing and growth of my clients, my approach is rooted in mindfulness, holistic practices, and cultural awareness. I acknowledge the existence of power inequity, recognizing that individuals with marginalized identities endure cultural violence and oppression across collective, relational, and personal dimensions. Embracing an anti-racist and anti-oppression framework, I am dedicated to fostering a space for transformation and empowerment.

I emphasize that healing for marginalized individuals involves reclaiming their dignity, power, and self-respect, while healing for privileged individuals necessitates a profound shift away from toxic and oppressive behaviors. Recognizing power inequity and systemic oppression as genuine forms of trauma, I strive to provide support for those with marginalized identities on both individual and collective levels.

I affirm the inherent right of individuals to determine their sexual, romantic, and gender identities, choose affirming relationships, and explore their sexuality, romantic love, and friendship needs through consensual, loving, conscious, and mature connections. My therapeutic approach is inclusive, embracing and affirming various identities, including those in polyamorous and kink communities, sex workers, and diverse gender identities.

Understanding the impact of my whiteness and other privileged identities on my perspective, I actively engage in the ongoing process of unlearning implicit and explicit biases. I am committed to receiving feedback with humility and empathy, recognizing it as a valuable tool for personal and professional growth. Additionally, I take responsibility for actively participating in social justice initiatives aimed at combating white supremacy, sexism, classism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, ageism, and xenophobia.
